Feather Pillows - Downy ComfortIf you just can't sleep on uncomfortable warm pillows in the summer, you may want to switch to feather pillows. Feather pillows stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than pillows that use other types of filling. This is because feather pillows are made with goose down, the feathers that help regulate a goose's body temperature. Besides keeping you cool and comfortable, feather pillows have several other benefits. Do you wake up each morning with neck or shoulder pain? This may be because your pillow is not able to shape itself to your body. A feather pillow is able to shape itself to your head and shoulders, allowing you to get a better night's rest. If you use a standard pillow for a few weeks, the filling compacts and cannot be re-fluffed easily. However, feather pillows can be re-fluffed daily, allowing you to get a good night's sleep over and over again. If you have allergies, you may be avoiding feather pillows because you are afraid that you will have an allergy attack. Although this used to be a problem, you can now find hypoallergenic pillows. The feathers are cleaned to make them dust and allergen free before they are used in the pillows. Once you use one of these feather pillows, you may finally be able to awaken in the morning without a stiff neck or a sweaty face. Also see: [bucky pillows] [latex pillow] [pillow cases] |
